The Zinc plating processes are galvanized coatings of a metal substrate by a bright Zinc layer which is deposited electrolytically in a bath of cyanide-free alkaline electrolytes, in order to protect the part from aggressive agents (oxidation and corrosion).
It is an electrolytic process which deposits a percentage of nickel alloy from 12% to 16% and it improves the resistant characteristics of the product.
They are applied over Zinc or Zinc Nickel alloys layers as a complement to the standard electrolytic processes.
